Interviewing The UndieGuy

I came across an interesting guy doing underwear reviews online.   And not just any underwear but sexy underwear and some regular ones too. But, underwear all the same.  He is the self titled UndieGuy and he is sweet as he is handsome. We had the pleasure to chat with him and it was a fun time. Check out the podcast below.  And also check him out on Vimeo and YouTube.

Coloring Hot Dudes?

If you have been under a rock for the last several months you may not have noticed Coloring Books for Adults have been growing in popularity.  I get the therapeutic gains from using these Coloring Books as a stress reliever or to combat boredom.  But, before I completely dismiss the legitimacy of Adult Coloring books, particularly the one pictured above.  Let me first say I am a proud gay man with no hang ups about my gayness.  But, does everything have to be for everyone? The political correctness in me says, "Absolutely!!". But, my satirical side implores me to say " WTF!". I think it's important that lgbt images need to placed right along side of our non-gay Bros and Sisters.  I do often chuckle how they, kind of, just throw some gay characters in movies/shows for the sheer fact of gaining some gay viewers.  Save the fact, that they normally stereotype us to death with eye rolls, snaps and witty repartee.  But, I digress.

Albeit, fun and a little provocative, do we need a Coloring Book depicting gay images?  Am I wrong to be a little offended by it? Tell me what you think and give me you opinion in the comment section below.

That One Thing That

This week's 5by5 Podcast not only shares the one thing that gets on my nerves when trying to date in this social media age we are living in.  But, also, a story of a man born without a penis.  And we also chat about a new kind of church that will get you "high" in the spirit. Take a listen to this week's funny episode.

Spread'em

I had no idea that this was a thing until I read a few articles that were talking about it.  I guess if you do not want anyone sitting next to you on a bus or train and you spread your legs out to accomplish that goal YOU WILL BE ARRESTED.  Who knew? Also, in this episode of The 5by5 Podcast, I talk about my car being vandalized and shenanigans at the car dealership.

Let's Wait Awhile

"Waiting awhile" is exactly what we have been doing while Ms. Jackson has been wifey to Billionaire, Wissam Al Mana.  But, the wait is over after a announcement was made from the "Control" singer's mouth earlier this month.  Janet says she will tour with the upcoming new music she has been working on.  And I cannot be happier.  I have loved Janet ever since she played adorable battered child, Penny, on Good Times. Listen to the announcement in this episode of The 5by5 Podcast as we chat about Ms. J and the now infamous "Dad Bod"

A Phallic Fallacy

This week on the The 5by5 Podcast we are talking about dick once again.  I shared with my listeners an article from Cosmo.Ph.  Titled, "11 Things Guys Secretly Do With Their Penises", it was hilarious.  I, also, took a work call to prove to everyone that I am not crazy when I say how horrible it is sometime dealing with employees.  I also take a penis knowledge quiz and shares some responses to last week's Question Of The Week.

This week in our Fanboy Weekly segment we share a list of past collecting mammoths that are worth nothing now.  Listen in, to the list, to see if you ever collected any of these things.

What's Going On?

What's going on, seems to be the question everyone in the nation is asking when it comes to the state of Indiana.  The guy above is Gov. Mike Pence and he signed into law SB101 The Religious Freedom Restoration Act that legalized discrimination against the citizens of Indiana, namely, the LGBT population.  But, after a corporate and social backlash, like no other, he pushed and signed an amendment stating that gays and lesbians could not be discriminated against.  Problem is, this only protects counties where gays and lesbians are a protected minority class.  Corporate giants like Salesforce INC and Angie's List threatened to halt growth, in the state, if this bill wasn't fixed.
Listen in to my latest podcast below to hear my views on RFRA.  Also, find out why McDonald's Coca Cola taste better than anywhere else on the planet.  I have a new addiction in the form of a MMORPG, Guild Wars 2.  And our Question of the Week is: What would you do if a customer came to your job and started a fight? Would you fight back or keep it classy and call the authorities?

Happy Pride with Pride48

This June The 5by5 Podcast will be participating in the live streaming event over on Pride 48.  I have been wanting to be apart of Pride48 since before I had my podcast.  So, when the opportunity presented itself I jumped all over it.  I will be streaming live on Sunday, June 22 @ 11am Eastern.  That will be 10am central.  The shows are streamed live for an hour.  My only problem is what in the hell do I talk about.  If you have listened to any of my shows you know I talk a little about everything.  So do I do a midday version of our Late Night show or do a gayer version of my Fanboy Weekly show.  I think I am going to try to accomplish both at one time.  A little gay, A little late night and a little Fanboy.  I hope you all will join me on my first ever broadcast on Pride48.  Below, is the schedule of all the other great podcasters participating in
the event.

Fanboy Weekly: Search Coming To An End

As you probably already know I have been searching for a copy of Lois Lane 106 but my search is coming to an end, hopefully.  Also, I am can be a little late on the fanboy news but I just realized that Dave Bautista is the same Batista that will be in Guardians of the Galaxy movie this summer as Drax the Destroyer.

Also, Monday saw the release of the long awaited WWE Network.  Fans of  World Wrestling Entertainment found some difficulty logging on and in. It took me about 30 mins to complete the process.  But, I have found it to be interesting.  I am a luke warm fan and enjoy some of the entertainers.  What I have watched already is Legends of WWE and it was the Bret Hart/ Sean Michaels story. Which was very interesting.  Check out what else I found out about the new WWE Network below.

A Black Lois Lane?

I bet you all didn't know at one point Lois Lane turned black for a hot second.  Well, Yes ma'am she did.  She went from Audrey Hepburn to Foxy Brown by way of Superman's transformation machine. This was a 70's comic from the Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane series (issue 106).  This particular issued tackled race relations in the late 60's and early 70's.  And Lois transforms into a black woman to see how it feels t be a black person. (I Am Curious..Black).  I went on a search for this comic today and came up empty handed.  The reason I wanted this book was because It's very unique and it was on Comic Book Men recently.  I will find it!

I also recap this week's Walking Dead, Ellen Page (see previous post) coming out and share my comic book Fanboy Weekend!! Thanks for tuning in!!
load.. It's been a busy

Side Eyes For All

Everyone in this post gets a Side Eye..

Have you heard the latest Celebrity that has gone around gay bashing? Well, let's not say celebrity.  I give Snooki more celebrity cred than this asshole.  He is none other than Juan Pablo Galavis, The Bachelor from the ABC reality show.  He says gays couldn't be on the bachelor because we are too "pervert" and not right for kids to be watching on television.  I mean what parent allows their children and more specifically young girls watch this women degrading show anyway? He has a lot of nerve. Listen in to what else I had to say about the bachelor.  Also, on today's episode I revisit my a bonus episode about Facebook and Funerals

Lastly I speak of a soon to be Internet sensation with her crazy vids that she does with her mom. Telling people off on cam see video below of  local girl Ashli Gay and her mom Cindy.

Evander Holyshhhh Shut Your Mouth

Well I doubt if anyone goes to Evander Holyfield for words of wisdom.  But, one person did on Big Brother Celebrity UK.  Speaking of a gay cast mate, Evander went on an almost intelligible rant on how being homosexual is a choice.  And that's fine.  He can say what he wants.  But, is that what is wrong with society now?  We persecute people who have opinion? NOT AT ALL! Just like I said previously about the Duck Dynasty Phil Robertson-gate.  No one is taking away Evander's freedom of speech.  Because, in fact, they already used it. Albeit, the producers of the show scolded him on hate speech.  My only problem is people seem to be invested and follow the words of celebrities. And for me that is the bigger problem . How do we combat it? We can't!  We can take away their platform. We can lecture them how to speak more thoughtfully.  But, then the world turns on it's head and accuses the accusers of being too sensitive.  All we can hope is that people who genuinely think for themselves, do just that THINK FOR THEMSELVES!   And doesn't Holyfield have about 1000 children (one of which came to his defense today) all living on the same property in Fayettville, GA somewhere?  I would be more concerned  about those needs than trying to throw your wisdom into the gay choice debate.

Check out the clip from TMZ below!

Check out The 5by5 Late Night live podcast for the whole story and other hot topics.

Duck Duck Duck Phil

Well I am not going to dwell on this topic about Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson's obvious dislike for gays and other sinners.  I don't claim to know his heart.  Everyone can speak on what they will.  But, we have to be mindful of sometimes our mouths can get us into trouble.  Even when we are speaking "our" truth.  Notic that I say "our" truth.  But, unlike everyone is saying.  No one took away Phil's right to free speech. His employer did not share his views and felt they were harmful to a sect of society that Phil felt is/was unworthy of salvation.  A&E never said Phil you cannot say that.. because he actually gave this interview to a reporter from GQ magazine.  Phil can continue to say what ever he wants and practice his right to free speech.  Do I think he should have been fired.  I don't know. I am not qualified to speak for A&E's human resource department. But, it obviously wasn't good for business.
I liked Uncle Si better anyway!
