No one would have expected the heart of the Ground Breaking Smallville television show to be arrested.  Yesterday, actress Allison Mack, was arrested for sex trafficking.  Bujt, we have the new Smallville Funko Pop Figures to keep us occupied as this story develops.  

Blue Vs Black Friday

The official kick off of the holiday shopping season is here.  Millions of Americans are more interested in buying that cheap television than voting for a decent President. I for one did both.  But, I was a little saddened by the Nerd Black Friday that we enjoyed last year.  Gamestop introduced us to the Funko Mystery box and Golden Pops, Hot Topic made us guest for the rare black and white Pops and each store had something we all wanted.  But, i digress, this Year each store failed to connect with collectors.  Walmart even threw their name in the hat with a mystery box that was full of foolishness or maybe it was just boring.  Nevertheless, we went shopping each day and night and made the most of a bad shopping situation.

Garbage Pail Kids Mystery Box Unboxing

I thought I would once again try my hand at youtube videos.  Although, I probably do not have the time to add another thing to do to my list of 1000 things to do, it seems fun. And why the hell not.  I picked up a Garbage Pail Kids Funko Mystery Box and thought I would unbox it for you all to see. Hopefully, the videos will get better and I will stop knocking over my camera.  

The Truth About Mystery Boxes

GameStop up'd the nerd mystery box ante with their Black Friday Funko Mystery Box.  Nerds and Geeks and Pop Figure Collectors alike rushed out early on Friday morning to grab up as many boxes as they could afford to get their hands on GameStop exclusive Funkos of Batman, Batgirl, Clap Trap, Power Armor (Fall Out) and Darkest Night Superman and their rare 1 in 8 Golden dopplegangers. I was lucky to get a golden version of the Darkest Night Superman.  But, It wasn't in my box.  Also, I went back and purchased several more boxes and pretty much came up with squat. I think the GameStop employees looked in boxes where the silver stickers were easily lifted off. Black Thursday

It's hard to believe that it is already Thanksgiving.  This year has went so fast and I have a ton of things to be thankful for.  My family and being relatively health are probably on the top of my thankful list.  So, on tonight's podcast I talk about being thankful.  Black twitter made the Holiday even better with the hashtag #ThanksgivingWithBlackFamilies.  And my wins and losses on some Pre Black Friday shopping. 

Let's Wait Awhile

"Waiting awhile" is exactly what we have been doing while Ms. Jackson has been wifey to Billionaire, Wissam Al Mana.  But, the wait is over after a announcement was made from the "Control" singer's mouth earlier this month.  Janet says she will tour with the upcoming new music she has been working on.  And I cannot be happier.  I have loved Janet ever since she played adorable battered child, Penny, on Good Times.
