Well, I just saw Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and I was so adamant about checking it out tonight. But, once the movie started, I realized this could have waited until next week or the week after. I am not going to spoil it until Sunday during my podcast review. But, I will say this.... On a scale out from 1 to 10 this movie gets a 4.5... I did appreciate Gadot's efforts as Wonder Woman. But, there wasn't enough of her to make you even care if she was in the movie or not. The obligatory Wayne Murders' scene was corny. Lex Luthor was laughable, but not in a good way. I did enjoy Affleck’s portrayal of Batman. But, that’s about it. And Superman, although Cavil is perfectly cast, he just isn’t that interesting. I believe Lois (Amy Archer) carried the entire story. And the rest of the supporting cast were forgettable, even Lawrence Fishburne. The other future team member cameos were dumb and uninspired. And the choice for The Flash seeing his “debut” made him look more like a character from the Vampire Diaries. Which could and should have been Grant Gustin. Did I say the first 1 hour and 45 mins was a snooze fest and I think I actually fell asleep? This was dumb and far fetched even for a comic book movie. They really need to take a page out of Marvel’s play book because it doesn’t look like they know what the hell they are doing with their own properties. Anyway, look for my complete spoilery review on this Sunday’s podcast.

Batman and True Blood Catch Up Post
I have been talking about the Batman 75th Anniversary on my podcast for some time now. DC Comics is going all out for The Dark Knight for his birthday. The festivities will commence on July 23rd at your local comic book stores and Barnes & Noble during their Get Pop-Cultured in store event. There will be a free comic book giveaway of Detective Comics #27 re-telling of the origin of Batman. Also, preceding Batman 75 DC has released 13 on going series with variant covers by various artist. Superman Wonder Woman 10 and Justice League 33 (not in stores yet) show below.
Check out the podcast to find out all the information on Batman 75.
True Blood returned 4 weeks ago and I am still on the fence. Now, I will finish the series since I am 6 years invested in it. But, with the surprising deaths of Tara and Alcide before we even get to the middle of the season has left a sad taste in my mouth. I mean there deaths were treated so insignificantly It makes you think they were B-list characters. I for one think that Hep V Vampire storyline was used too much already and I wish it was already over. But, you can check out the podcast below and hear my full review on True Blood so far!

The Tomorrow People, Agents and Arrow
What a night of premieres. All except one (3rd episode) Agents Of Shield is still riding the wave of popularity. The new show quirkiness is there, but that doesn't stop them for delivering solid geek filled episodes. The underlying discussion about Agent Coulson's identity is still present. This week the mystery behind him was given to us by one line from Agent May "And You Died".

fix. Right after Arrow the second Amell family member charged in with The Tomorrow People. Robbie Amell younger fraternal cousin to Stephen is the lead in the U.S. version of an old British scifi classic.
Check out their interview below it's very cute.

Fanboy Weekly: I Wonder, Woman

Also, I give a small review about the animated movie Superman Unbound. It's a pretty good story and I felt like it was sequel to Batman/Superman Apocalypse. I thought so it featured Supergirl and the elements from the first movie kind of led into this one. But, that is just my opinion. I also loved the fact the Matt Bomer was voice lead for Superman/Clark. I recently found out that he was married to his boyfriend. If you remember Matt, he stars in the show White Collar and was one of the strippers in Magic Mike.
Finally, the main focus of this blog and he show. The Amazon Princess, daughter of Paradise Island:
WONDER WOMAN!!
This week's Throwback goes to Mr. Speed himself: Flash.
The Flash Television series was before it's time. Check out John Wesley Ship's Flash and listen to the show for some information about our speedster.

Fanboy Friday Makeover
Hey Guys!! Sorry Fanboy Friday has been gone. But, I have been a busy fan boy lately.
I am so behind on my favorite shows and I am switching to a new format. We now have a home on Spreaker. I will still update the show on Blog Talk Radio, but no longer will be broadcasting live from there. You will also still be able to catch it on iTunes and Stitcher Radio and eventually iHeart Radio.
This episode we are still working out some kinks. But here the latest on True Blood. Netflix has introduced a new "Mer-Man" original series and Xmen Days of Future Past has given us a whole lot of mutants to geek about with some newly released pictures.
