The Drive: Can I Get A Vacation?

Today on The Drive to work I talk about how impossible it is for me just to take a weekend off from work.
I know I am whining, but hell everyone needs a break.  During my chatter, I get stopped at a green light by someone who obviously ran out of gas.  So, excuse my outburst.. or road rage if you will.  LOL. But, I mean when you  got into your car you knew you were low on gas.  So, why wasn't your first stop to go to the gas station.  I mean, REALLY?
Thanks for listening!!

The Drive: Weather Wars

I was so mad today because I dressed too warmly to go to work.  And when I get outside it is almost short weather. Since, I was already running behind I didn't have time to run in a change my outfit for today.  I had to go to work looking like the last black eskimo.  I think the weather men fooled me or I just didn't look at the weather or something.  But, I am sure it isn't my fault.  I then ran into the confused cashier that always overcharges or gives me the wrong thing when I swing into the gas station.  Both stories and more on this mini-sode of

The Drive: Down The Steps

More like almost falling down the steps.  Have you ever had one of those moments when you hope no one witnessed one of your embarrassing moments?  Well today I briefly experienced that moment. Normally not embarrassed by much. But, today as I pirouetted down the steps I secretly hoped no one saw my graceless  attempt at gymnastics.  Also, during my drive. I encountered 2 drivers who caused my horn to go into overdrive.  LOL

The Drive

Today has been the worst day for driving.  So, I thought I would chat about it.    I was driving home from work today just talking about how people in smaller cities drive.  I normally drive very cautiously and defensively and that's probably from my days of driving on 75 and 285 in Atlanta, GA.  But, moving back to a smaller area has caused me a little bit of driver culture shock. Not only because people drive entirely too slow here.  Because, honestly, I always plan ahead so I can make it to my destination on time. But, they just do not think.  I guess you can see that all over, no matter where you live.  This morning's drive as you will hear was pretty tame.  But, driving around town this afternoon was a bit of a challenge (not recorded).  I mean I was almost killed once this morning, but almost killed twice this afternoon.  The reason why, you ask? Most drivers are inconsiderate.. the concept of turning signals, right of way and merging seem to go out the window when you are not aware or care about the other drivers around you.
I promise I didn't rage too much but my horn sure did. LOL.
