Sticks and Stones 1 and 2

These last 2 work weeks have been hell.  I have been dealing with a psycho co worker who has it out for me.  But, recently he crossed a line.  I informed my boss and HR .  A meeting was scheduled and more drama ensued.  Although, I came out rather unscathed. It was something that I felt I should have never went though in the first place.  It is definitely hard to gay and black in the workplace.  Especially if you are good at what you do. The small minds that sometimes surround you would rather see you fail other than see you succeed.  Below is what happened.

The Problem With Arizona

I know I am behind.  I recorded 2 shows about the legislation in Arizona that would allow discrimination of gays and lesbians based on religious freedom.  I am glad that Governor Jan Brewer made the right decision by vetoing that bill. But, the fight is not over for many other states that are seeking similar bills that protect discriminatory practices all under the guise and law of religious freedom.
Below are the podcast I recorded at the end of February about the topic!!

Before the Veto

After the Veto
