Geek Spring 2015 Begins

Happy Geek Spring!!! 

 

 There are so many geeky things going on this spring I can hardly contain myself. And my geek spring began this passed weekend at our locally ran/owned Pop Con Comic Book and Pop Culture Convention.  Although, I was hot as hell, inside the venue,  it was a lot of fun.  I, also, met the lovely and charming Naomi Grossman who played "Pepper" on American Horror Story's Asylum and Freakshow.  She did share with me who was the biggest diva on set.  You will have to listen to this week's podcast to find out who it is.  Not that you really have to guess.  But, I got some really amazing blank comic book variants and sketches and managed to get a Silent Bob Funko Pop Figure.

Trevor Wayne Interview

I had the pleasure of interviewing Trevor Wayne today on Real Talk.  Trevor is a model, an actor and an artist.  But, most of all he is a nice guy.  He was so gracious to chat with us today.  I first saw Trevor in one of his "boylesque" pinup show pictures.  I was so intrigued by this guy who had a lot of tattoos and blue eyes that you would only see on movie stars.  After some online stalking I found that Trevor had been in television shows and the subject of many photographers camera lens, most notably Clive Barker of Hellraiser fame.  I once sent Trevor a tweet of a picture of him from the Charmed episode Rewitched.  He was also in a scene from Dexter.  Trevor, as handsome as he is, also has a humor laced creative side.  He creates images of iconic movie stars or personas and throws them into a situation that borders on the strange and leaves you smiling at the result.
