Cupcake Stories

Yes,  you read it right.  These are not bedtime stories.. Today's podcast came straight from the bakery.  Or, I went straight to the bakery and bought some cupcakes and ate them while I recorded the podcast.. Hmmm

Anyway. tonight on the 5by5 Late Night Show I paid my respects to the man who made my life and living (in the figurative sense) possible. Martin Luther King jr.  The man and the message is to be remembered & respected. 

In other news, I address the firestorm that is the new HBO Looking series.. I had to chat about it again because I got some flack for saying I didn't like the stereotypes in the show.  I also give a few tips or aversion therapy on Public Restrooms.. Ewww gross, right?! 

I finish up by taking a quiz about Measuring Up? I am sure it was real scientific.

DIY Isn't For Everyone

I have seen this all over the Internet lately.  I guess people are trying to find alternative ways to heat their homes this very cold winter.  Well not everything is meant for you to do in your home.  I don't understand all these YouTube challenges either. I mean, do you want to hurt yourself? Or I just might be old.  LOL. Tonight's episode featured the 411 on these DIY flower pot heaters. I'm just not doing it in my house. I also give my take on the proposed Wonder Woman origin revamp for the Batman Vs. Superman movie.  I dunno about this one fanboys, but I kind of see it.  The Doctors shared a quiz about sugar addiction and I wasn't surprised about my results. Finally, as promised, I give you the scoop on Evander Holyfield's apparent feelings on gays needing to be fixed because we chose our lifestyle. *side eye*

Do You Have An Accent?

I used to obsess about my accent. Only to find out I didn't have one. In the back of my mind I kind of figured that one out. But, I live an area where accents go from extreme hickerbilly to ghetto fabulous in the span of a 20 mile radius.  Tonight, I put my mind at ease as I took the Which American Accent Do You Have? quiz from www.youthink.com 's website.  And my curiosity was pretty much spot on. 

We also chat about Robin Roberts facebook coming out and Green Bay Packer Quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, allegedly being outed by his personal assistant/ boyfriend on twitter. And a whole lot more!
