I had no idea that this was a thing until I read a few articles that were talking about it. I guess if you do not want anyone sitting next to you on a bus or train and you spread your legs out to accomplish that goal YOU WILL BE ARRESTED. Who knew? Also, in this episode of The 5by5 Podcast, I talk about my car being vandalized and shenanigans at the car dealership.

Time For A New Dress
Have you ever experienced so much stress you just long for a change? Sometimes you just need to put on a new dress and give the old one to a more needing soul. Well, that is what I have been feeling for the last few weeks. Stress in just about all parts of my life. But, I know I can talk it out and survive anything. Also, talking about penis size around the world helps a bit too.
Enjoy this week's episode of The 5by5 Late Night Show.

They Tried It
A funny show tonight.. I was a little all over the place with the conversation. I talked about making a Paula Deen inspired chicken dinner for my family. And I shared the Samuel L Jackson vs Sam Rubin audio. That was funny. I also talked about how the state of Kansas House Of Representative approved a bill that would discriminate against the homosexual community. and how a mother chastised gay parents for inviting her son to their daughter's birthday party. I mean they all TRIED IT.. TeamTooMuch

The Drive: Down The Steps
More like almost falling down the steps. Have you ever had one of those moments when you hope no one witnessed one of your embarrassing moments? Well today I briefly experienced that moment. Normally not embarrassed by much. But, today as I pirouetted down the steps I secretly hoped no one saw my graceless attempt at gymnastics. Also, during my drive. I encountered 2 drivers who caused my horn to go into overdrive. LOL

Fox Host Says No To A Black Santa Claus
Although, I will give Megyn Kelly some room to say that St. Nicholas was white. Even though he is an imaginary made up person. I have to draw a line when she says Jesus was too.

All this came out a couple of days ago when the Kelly Files host shared her views on an article written by Aisha Harris. Ms. Harris' article share HER views on how she processed all the images of Santa Claus when she was a little kid. But, in Fox News form, Megyn Kelly had to add her uninformed 2 cents. Listen in to the latest edition of Real Talk as I discuss my personal view on the subject. I also share a true story from a local Subway, Beyonce's newly dropped album and the ladies of SWV are going to give us life on their new WEtv reality show.

Beyonce Rules the World
Beyonce Rules The World
Yeah, the album has been out for about a month now and I love it. Just getting around to giving you a review on it. Not what you expected, but definitely worth the listen.

Well if you haven't bought the newest Beyonce album titled 4 yet, go get yourself a copy. Don't let the negative press and hater gossip persuade you not to give this album a chance. Bey has done something that no artist has done in recent years. She did not make a formulaic album. What I mean is, she didn't make songs that we will hear on the radio a thousand times and then forget about next year. This album, although more mid-tempo than previous releases is one of those beginning to the end albums. Yeah, you can pick out your favorites, but I like to listen to it as a whole. If I have any favorites I would say they would be 1+1, Countdown, Party, End of Time and I Care. Many will say that it is missing some of the heavy R&B tracks like 'Upgrade-U and DIVA' or the POP ballads like 'Irreplaceable and If I Were A Boy'. read moreMonday, April 19, 2010
I'm going to be a Quitter
I have decided to become a quitter. I know this sounds weird to all of you but it's actually a good thing. I have been a smoker for a little over 10 years. I can remember exactly when and where it happened. I was dating someone and he passed me a cigarette on our way home from Louisville, KY to calm me down after a very heated discussion. And a few drags later I was hooked. I do remember hating cigarette smoke and smokers for a very long time because of a family member's use. But, now I was who I didn't want to become. Well at the end of last year while I was choosing my health benefits for 2010, I noticed the smoker rates had risen quite steeply. I, also, noticed that there was a new cessation program available that if you joined you could pay non-smoker rates. NO BRAINER!! The program consisted of free patches and counseling. I order my patches and they have been siting on my desk for about a month. I just wasn't ready. But, I think I am now. So, tomorrow April 19, 2010 will be the first day I will be using the patches. I smoked my last cigarette about six hours ago. I am ready. So with a lot of determination and willpower I will beat this addiction that has had me for over a decade.
