No, I am not the subject of this type of artwork (thankfully).  But, there are some blue collar-ish men who have become the canvas for Neil Curtis' "Replace Clothes With Paint" project.  Sometimes "we" Americans can be a little bit prudish when it comes to nudity. We become even more prudish when it's male nudity.  Neil Curtis says people may think it's a little weird, but he has always had a fascination with body painting. So this weeks episode asks the question Is That Art? I guess beauty isn't the only thing in the eye of the beholder.  Art is too, obviously.  Listen to this week's podcast below to hear my thoughts on this NSFW project by Neil Curtis.  

Also, I talk about a new diet that makes the claim that you can lose weight by eating 5 bites at lunch and 5 bites at dinner.  I am not sure if this is a diet for me, but a friend of mine is convinced that it's going to work for him. Lastly, I talk about James Franco's Interior. Leather Bar. movie short. A re-imagining of the 40 mins originally cut from the Al Pacino lead "Cruising" film from the 70's. And Chase Bank throws shade at it's porn star customers by closing their accounts. #sideeye 

LOOKING, familiar

 Well after all of the hype HBO's new gay series "Looking" made it's debut on Sunday night. I was kind of hyped because we haven't had a gay themed drama from a major network in sometime.  I miss the days of Noah's Arc and Queer As Folk. But, Looking is seeking to fill the void for us gay men in waiting. Well, as I say in my review the stereotypes in this premiere episode were a little unsettling  In the first 5 mins we get park cruising and a hand job.  Later on we get pretentious queens, a three way and chicken chasers.  I was like seriously they are really going to come out like this? Although, QAF did have some very stereotypical imagery throughout the series.  But, it was a different time for gay men and women.  We are so much more visible now.  We expect respect from a society who will and has used everything to deny us our basic rights. I don't see how using the same  stereotypical visuals to describe our community in THE FIRST episode helps us.  Or do we just chalk it up to storytelling and let it go.  I am going to give this one a few more views before canceling my HBO subscription.  LOL.. Not really True Blood has one more season.. lol.

And finally, I saw a Huffington Post article about Full Frontal scenes from male actors in the movies.  What I didn't know is just how many movies there were that showed us what we all have obviously been missing.  But, since I love you guys.  I thought I would share the very NSFW video!  And not one of them is from any actor in Magic Mike.  What up with that?  Enjoy!!

Those Priest Did What?

The title makes you wonder what I have come up with now.  Well in this episode of  The 5by5 Late Night I talk about the Romanian Orthodox Priest who made a calendar with buff semi nude male models. Okay, the article says they really weren't from the priesthood but an artistic depiction showing that not everyone in the faith posses the same old mentality of Orthodox church.  check out the full article here

What's Your State Bad At? The findings are hilarious. We didn't go through all 50, but we will save some for another show.  Lastly, I read a funny article from www.cracked.com that talked about how parents need to be more cautious when naming their children. It's very funny.

I wish I could have been one of the judges at Andrew Christian's Audition. And cameos by Rupaul's Drag Race Season 3 Runner Up Manila Luzon and Youtube sensation Davey Wavey (always with his shirt off). He's so nice.

I mean what do you have to do to have a body like this?  I know with working out it takes discipline and hard work.  I don't know if I have it in me.  This video has inspired me to "think" about getting back into the gym.  Now, I have a headache. lol Anyway enjoy the video.
